I've been intending to blog, but either haven't found the time to and most nights, the energy to.
I've been too distracted to even upkeep my summer distraction, which was to weed. Thankfully, it still doesn't look too bad as I pluck here and there.
And so my procastination in blogging has resulted in the irretrievable loss of some precious photos. Let me explain. A few weekends ago, I went to Calgary and for some hiking in Kananaskis. Then Calgary again the weekend after for a women's conference and this weekend was partially in Vancouver.
I took some glorious photos of K-country during our hike which also included a couple of ones that I wanted to post of Miche-lin doing her 'swimsuit model' thing, haha, sorta. It was a hot day and our hike was along the ice cold run-off of some river whose name I cannot recall.
Along with doing some silly contests to see who could keep their feet in the longest in this ice cold water, I have to give kudos to Michelle for being adventurous. She cooled herself off further by submerging her head in the water. Anyways, I tried to capture this courageous act or rather what I would describe as a swimsuit model hair flipping manoeuvere on my digital camera.
I couldn't get the full action shots even after multiple takes but I did get the before shot, head in water and then head fully out of water shots. It was so funny, but guess you had to be there.
Now if I had the pictures, it would have spoke a thousand words instead of my blah blahhing blog above. I went to upload the pictures tonight from the camera but Grace has deleted them already!
She downloaded her photos and optioned the camera to delete all remaining photos which means mine are now forever lost. Ai yah.
Intentions does not equal action, if sharing a camera with family members, download ASAP.
Grace to you, Vien

This is why I don't like to share! ;)
Luckily, J saves *everything* (in multiple copies, no less) so I'm usually spared the loss of precious images.
