Flash

This week has gone by in a blur. Everything is feeling surreal.

I've somehow gone through the motions so that the things that needed to get done are basically done. Now all I need to do is pack, which should be easy...all summer and light clothes.

I have 4 more full days to spend time with family and friends and eat up homemade and chinese food. There will be none of that in Tucson, at least not even remotely good ones.

This is one verse I hold close to heart:

"In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."
PROVERBS 19:9

I have no plans, I have no expectations, I am wide open as to what the Lord determines. Life won't begin in Tucson, nor has it ended by leaving Edmonton.

Grace to you, Vien

Always remember - you are only a flight or two away from E-town. That kept me going on those tough days in HK, and quite frankly, a plane ticket from Tucson is gonna be *SO* much cheaper than one from HK!

I always like to look at my moves as new adventures (moved to SK from AB, moved to E-town from GP, moved to China from Canada), which totally helps me to look *forward* to them and not look *backward* to where I came from. This has warded off many a feeling of homesickness. May it be so with you as well! =D
