I've had lots and lots of Mexican food the past 2 weeks, enough for me to be OVER my love affair for it.
Yesterday, I went with the guys from work to a Mexian hot dog stand for some Mexican hotdogs. I was anticipating a big stomachache for the afternoon, but went for it anyway.
I sure was pleasantly surprised. A Mexican hotdog, don't know if they really make it that way down there, was a hot dog weiner wrapped in bacon with all the fixings, such as beans, salsa, peppers, onions, etc. There's also a condiments stand which has extra salsa, cucumbers, carrots, etc. Crazy, talk about loading up your dog.
I wish I had my camera with me, us eating our hotdogs at this total stand, it was a big stand though, with covered seating. Apparently, they're constructing a bigger one and it will be a restaurant size but as a food stand.
My co-workers also ordered Coca-cola, the bottled ones that you can only get from Mexico. The total for 2 hot dogs and a drink? $2.75
I totally recommend the Mexican hot dog.

Since I've been obsessed w/hotdogs for the past month, that Mexican dawg sounds AMAZING. Who would've thought - bacon *and* beans *and* salsa on one hotdog?!? YUM.
I may have to do some experiments in my kitchen! ;)
