So Grand

Well, let's just say that my Grand Canyon road trip was filled with some unfortunate events. I feel bad that I persuaded the group to press on towards the Canyon the next morning as I thought that it would rain off and on. Since we were, oh, so close, I felt that we had to go see it through to the end. Perhaps the weather would break.

But it did not. My poor friend only had on a sweatshirt & flip flops so she was soaked and miserably cold. We paid a $25 Park fee to see the same thing for 2hrs. Plain rock covered with so much heavy fog that we could not see one foot down. Perhaps the weekend was just not meant to be.



Oh well, I shall have to try again another time.
