I don't discriminate when it comes to massage therapists, they can be young/old, man/woman/child, blind/or not, and chinese/caucasian/black whatever. As long as they can provide some pain relief. :)
I called one ad up, and she said she had a cancellation for 5:30pm. Perfect, even though she was $75, a bit more than what I usually pay but it said for 1.5hr.
Anyways, I got there at 5:30pm and did not leave til 9:30pm! No, I did not get a 4hr massage, I wish.
It's because my masseuse is super nice and she cares alot for each of her client's ailments.
She ends up talking to them about some naturopath products that would be helpful and she talks some more and she really tries to resolve the pain areas. She also doesn't just use her magic fingers, but also an acupuncture machine, a machine that rolls, and also a stretching bed. I was the recipient of all that, plus lots of waiting time in between.
Eva (the masseuse) had people calling her and begging to get in for their chronic pain throughout the evening. She also says that she regularly works from 9am to midnight to be able to help her clients. When I left at 9:30pm, she had 2 more clients waiting for her....I felt bad & could feel the "dirty" looks boring through me, but it wasn't my fault!
I pre-paid for one more session & will give her one more try, but I'm going to try to book in for an appointment that is the first one in the morning. ;)
Grace to you, Vien

Wow, crazy! But that is quite awhile to be waiting. I'm heading off to a massage therapist next week and the only reason I booked with them is because they are right down the street.
