Ever have days when you feel like dancing and not care who was watching, uh righto. But inhibtions hold you back even though it shouldn't because it's the elation that comes from the fountain of deep joy, our Jesus Lord and Saviour.
Anyways, laughter bonds people. There is the saying that laughter is the shortest distance between 2 people & I wholeheartedly agree.
I hear enough from, ahem, a few that I have a quirky sense of humor....whatever that means. ;)
...But one never knows what's funny to others. In a survey of over fourteen thousand Psychology Today readers who rated thirty jokes, the findings were unequivocal. "Every single joke," it was reported, "had a substantial number of fans who rated it 'very funny,' while another group dismissed it as 'not at all funny.'"
Apparently, our funny bones are located in different places. Some laugh uproariously at the slapstick of Larry, Moe, and Curly-Joe, while others enjoy the more cerebral humor of Woody Allen.... (taken from an article from Christianity Today)
Laughter is good medicine, and humor helps us cope. I'd like to give a shout out to the friends whom I have shared countless laughs with. May there be more belly-clutching, spit-spraying type of laughs no matter how old we get. :D
Grace to you, Vien
