So I'm a student again

Well, I wrote about open doors and closed doors a couple of blogs back. The one door that I thought was closed, is now open again.

It's kind of like a catch-22 for me though. On the one hand, I am so unsure about my future: possible "career" chanage; the desire to move; and if I do, the 'fear' of a new city and not knowing many people. So in this sense, doors closing would make it more clear about where God wants me to be or what He wants me to be doing.

And, it's also what I've been praying about, that God will make my paths straight because I don't know. So what better way to know than to have a clear straight path, this way, I can entrust that God will take care of everything because it's His will right?

So at this junction of mine, again, there are still 2 doors opened. The first open door begets my blog subject, I am a student again, well a part-time one. Originally, there were not enough students registered but at the very last minute, lo and behold, someone came out of the wood work and did.

Staring this Thursday, I am taking financial courses (5 modules) that runs 8:30am-5pm & every week til the end of September.

It's supposed to help prepare me to challenge a pretty tough financial exam that writes only in June & November to obtain a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. I'm aiming to write it in November.

My manager has graciously allowed me to go on part-time work status so that I can take these courses, so praise God for that.

So here's to hitting the books again, it's definitely been a while!

Grace to you, Vien

Good for you, Viener! Taking this course will definitely give you a better indication of whether or not you will want to pursue financial planning as a F/T venture!

Also, it takes lots of willpower to return to school on such a hectic schedule, so I am proud of you for making that decision and I hope you do awesome on your studies!
