In her breathless speech, I heard and it also dawned on me at the same time that it was to tell me that my older sister had her baby. I didn't expect the birth-day because the last time I spoke with my sister, the doctor said there was no movement towards labor and they may have to induce by Feb. 8 if the baby still did not want to come out.
Introducing Matthew Wong...to you and the rest of his fellow Matthew Wongs in this world. ;)

Hey, "Auntie" Vien!! I heard the good news from Nhan on Sunday. I guess Grace didn't get a chance to tell you that the name is being spelled Matthieu (the French way). But yes, it'll take some getting used to either way...
Hi Karen, you're an "auntie" to him too through some marriage tie. ;)
I checked with my sister, his name is spelled the regular 'ol way.
She wanted Matthieu but Steve did not. But they both like that name and agreed instantly that he looks like a Matthew. :)
Hmmm, I suppose Vinh would be "great uncle", so that would make me "great aunt". Is that right? I'm never sure of labels beyond immediate relatives.
Whoa, that really will take some getting used to, having a Matthew Wong in our family. Perhaps we can train him early on to follow in the other Matthew Wong's footsteps and be a doctor :)
