life.in general.

a happy new year greetings to y'all.

getting back into the monotony of things in tucson, the extent of it is spiced up with the occasional hot sauce in the cooking. :) that's right, life, in general, has been....meh. but it's ok.

i anticipate a quick start to the passing of 2007's first few months. annual Stantec work party next Saturday, a cowboy casual attired party but at a fancy dude ranch. so maybe i'll get to experience some good prime rib and even better if i win a door prize or sumthin'. :)

got tickets to go see Chris Tomlin in Phoenix in a sold out concert at the end of the month. Hopefully also go do some Arizona snowboarding that weekend too.

will be attending a Christian conference in Long Beach, CA during President's Day long weekend in Feb. Hosted by John McArthur's church and with stellar theologically strong speakers, i expect to be challenged and 'enlightened' for lack of a better word.

for the first time ever, i am also playing organized softball in a co-ed league through my work place. And it's been fun! I've been playing catcher, got run over at home base once, got bruised with the ball a couple of times but the novelty and just having to show up to play has made it fun.

i will also be back probably around chinese new year in february as my sister is about to birth the 1st grandchild of both her and her husband's sides. Which means he or she (the baby) will be ridiculously spoiled regardless. how fun. a fair size 1 month banquet will be thrown which i am coming back for depending on the birth day. i'm sorry that i can't be there for my sister during labor.

so that is life. in general.

Grace to you, vien

Sorry I missed seeing you at Christmas! I heard from Vanilla C that she tried to contact you but you were MIA, probably with all the Christmas festivities and catching up with your family! I hope you had a very joyous holiday!

Good to hear you'll be back in Feb again! Is it expensive to fly back & forth? Of course, it is well worth it to celebrate the birth of your first niece/nephew!

PS - Saw your dad at Staples the other day, and he didn't recognize me but he was talking on his cell so I didn't interrupt (on my way out) to say hi. =S

Thanks Helen, I appreciate how you are a *faithful* comment leaver for bloggers. :) For me, anyways, it helps me to update, haha.

Yeah, strange that Conster couldn't get through to our home number. No, not that much festivities but it's always good laughs to hang with my sisters and cousins.

I've been lucky, what with United miles and a one way ticket from when my work paid for me to get here, I've been able to come back on a practical dime.

take care and tty soon.
