hello, this blogger thing sure has died down now that everyone has got Facebook.
Y-Le & I are gonna do a quickie trip up to Edmonton to surprise my parents and older sister during the Labor Day long weekend. shhh, don't tell them 'k? :)
By the time we go back at Christmas, Matthew C.H. Wong will be almost a year old and we would have missed his lil' cute chubby non-walking and non-verbal stage. That is why we thought it would be good to see him now even if it meant a very quick trip.
If anyone has my sister on their Facebook, she put up the cutest video ever of him laughing at his dad while pulling his dad's finger. he has the most adorable and pure laugh. Can make even the saddest person smile just listening or watching it.
And that is the power of the gurgly happy baby.
Grace to you people. vien

Awesome, Vien! Not sure if I will get to see you that weekend; we're scheduled to go camping near Swan Hills, so it depends when we go or if we do.
But surprise visits are the BEST...we've done that for my folks a few times in the past and they've always had awesome reactions. That is, until we started to overdo it and they always thought we were going to surprise them by coming home...and that was when we stopped. ;)
re: blogging dying down since Facebook...too funny, I agree. But you've got a lot of people chasing the trends right? They'll be off of Facebook once they find the next fad, too, I believe. =) Guess that's why it helps to have a purpose in mind when you start blogging!
Peace and grace!!

About time! I've been checking everyone's blogs, hoping that more than a few will finally update theirs.
If it weren't for your e-mails, I'd be wondering what the heck happened to you!
(I'm guessing neither your parents nor your sis check your blog...otherwise, you just gave up the surprise yourself!)
gracing me with you and y-le's presence at sfo airport...next time you girls have to stay longer and we can hang like the old times. ah, those hong kong days...
Hey..I won't tell it to them. No worries! Hope you'll definately suprise them.
Have a safe trip and say HI to your parents for me please!
