Resolved

I got the opportunity to go to Long Beach, CA this past long weekend to attend a conference hosted by John McArthur's Grace Community Church.

It is based on the great preacher and theologian Jonathan Edwards 70 Resolutions for the Christian faith and living.

The conference was an opportunity to hear today's men of the faith who are relentlessly pursuing truth and defending the glory of God. It was a very tiring weekend based on the fact that you have to sit for long periods of time and fight to stay mentally alert so that you can listen. Thankfully, there were 2 stand out sermons that I can remember, one about not being ashamed of the gospel and the other about it costing us everything to be Christ's disciple.

A refreshing and sobering reminder to hunger for things that are deeper and still to come. And who we represent. Truth... how many of us want it to be more, more than what we accept it to be because pursuing it will mean ALOT of hard work and effort....
